Advanced Certificate in Data Protection Operational Excellence

The Advanced Certificate in Data Protection Operational Excellence comprises of five modules covering operational aspects in data protection and information security. It also includes practical application for Data Protection by Design and Data Protection Impact Assessment.

Participants will be awarded the Advanced Certificate in Data Protection Operational Excellence upon completing the following five (5) modules, totalling twelve (12) full days of training.

  2. Information & Cyber Security for Managers - EXIN Certification (2 days)
  3. Advanced Data Protection Techniques: Data Protection by Design, DPIA & DPTM (2 days)
  4. Data Protection Management Programme - DPMP (3 days)
  5. Data Protection Trends and Roles of the DPO (2 days)


Data Protection Officers, Compliance Managers (Dedicated/Part-time) or personnel with data protection responsibilities. Also for personnel handling personal data, e.g. Finance, Human Resource, Sales and Marketing, IT, Customer Services.


Course assessment will be based on classroom exercises, case studies and project presentation.


Participants who complete the Advanced Certificate in Data Protection Operational Excellence and the Advanced Certificate in Data Protection Principles will be awarded an Advanced Diploma.


1) SkillsFuture Series

Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents are eligible for 70% course fee funding (excluding GST) for successful enrolment into approved courses under the Programme. This funding is applicable to both individual and company sponsored participants.

2) SkillsFuture Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy (MCES)

Up to 90% of course fees for Singapore Citizens aged 40 years and above.

3) Enhanced Training Support for SMEs (ETSS)

Up to 90% of course fees for employees of SMEs who are Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents.

4) Workfare Training Support Scheme (WTS)

Up to 95% of course fees for Singapore Citizens aged 35 years and above (13 years and above for persons with disabilities) earning a monthly income of not more than S$2,000.

5) SkillsFuture Credit

6) Absentee Payroll
