In addition, he is a governance, risk management and compliance professional (GRCP) under the Open Compliance Ethics Group (OCEG) and an official OCEG trainer. With his background in privacy and GRC, Kevin is a leading speaker in this field and consults regularly with and for government regulators and policymakers. |

 | Nicholas Cheong Nick is a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) and a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) for Europe and Asia, certified by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). He has also been certified by the Open Compliance and Ethics Group (“OCEG”) as a Governance, Risk and Compliance Professional (GRCP) and GRC Auditor (GRCA). Nick has benefited from 25 years of legal practice, managing risks as a diving instructor and as a drug supervision officer. He is from the first batch of PDPC approved trainers when PDPC first launched its data protection course. He has provided data protection training and consultancy since 2014. |
PRE-REQUISITE
This is not a foundation course, participants are expected to have the following pre-requisites:
• Good knowledge of data protection; and
• Tertiary level qualifications; and/or
• At least 2 years of working experience

CERTIFICATE OF PROFICIENCY
Candidates must pass this exam in order to get the CIPM certification and use the CIPM credentials with his or her name.

When registration is confirmed, participants will receive our email confirmation along with information of the course programme. If no seats are available for the applied date, you will be notified immediately and given an alternative date. Straits Interactive reserves the right to change the course schedules, programmes and content without prior notice. We also reserve the right to cancel course due to unforeseen circumstances.
CANCELLATION
Request for withdrawal or postponement must be made in writing to Straits Interactive. Refunds arising from course withdrawal/deferment will be subjected to the following terms:
More than 2 weeks before course commencement: Full refund.
Less than 2 weeks before course commencement: 50% refund.
On or after course commencement: No refund.
