This module covers the 10 Obligations of Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act from a human resource lifecycle management perspective. Participants will learn best practices and identify the risks in HR management in compliance with the PDPA as well as learn and apply best practices from enforcement cases by the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC).

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:
Gain an understanding of the 10 Obligations of the PDPA
Understand how to operationalise the obligations against the human resource lifecycle management
Learn and apply best practices from enforcement cases
As part of the requirement for SkillsFuture Singapore, there will be an assessment at the end of the course. Course assessment will be based on classroom exercises and presentation.
