k-anonymity
• a technique for anonymising data that generalises data by truncating or removing some quasi-identifiers to replace direct identifiers
• used to prevent re-identification of anonymised data which can occur when one data set is connected with another data set
keyloggers
• hardware or software used to track keystrokes, or every key you press on your keyboard
• can be used for non-malicious intent like software development, but may also be used to capture and steal user data. They are also found in a number of employee surveillance software
keystroke logging
• the act of tracking and recording what a user types on his/her keyboard. This is done using keyloggers
