A roadmap and new versatile certification for both GRC and Privacy Professionals

The IDPP certification will provide you with a holistic approach to governance, risk, and compliance, with a specific focus on the data privacy/protection domain. The Integrated Data Privacy Model on which it is based was co-authored by Straits Interactive and OCEG (Open Compliance Ethics Group).

This IDPP Hands-on Training enables:

  1. GRC professionals to understand how to integrate the specialist subject matter of Data Privacy into the broader GRC capability; and
  2. Privacy professionals to integrate GRC concepts and capabilities into their data privacy management programme.

The Integrated Data Privacy Professional (IDPP) Hands-on Training is a comprehensive programme which goes beyond just theory. It enables you to engage with your lecturers, network with other learners and put into practice the tenets of the Integrated Data Privacy Model. It sets you on a roadmap to integrate your data privacy efforts with your company's Governance, Risk and Compliance efforts, and prepares  you to ace the IDPP examination and add the credentials ‘IDPP’ to your name.

Testimonials

The IDPP is a unique certification in that it does not simply look at privacy in isolation from the other important things that an organization needs to thrive. It takes a comprehensive approach to privacy by coupling it with governance, risk and compliance. The reason why a lot of privacy programs fall short is that they do not align privacy with corporate objectives, facing uncertainty and maintaining integrity. The IDPP addresses this through its Data Privacy Capability Model which integrates privacy with GRC, resulting in a integrative, end-to-end approach to privacy.

Ronald Allan Pablo
Chief Risk Officer

The IDPP program was different from what I expected, it gave a holistic view (LAPR platform) of the Data Privacy with internal/External context (with key areas identified as well). The IDPP gives a little more in depth operational perspective for application.
