  • Individuals responsible to maintain conformity with BCMS requirements within an organization
  • Members of the BCMS team

This course is a Self-Paced learning programme with 5 days’ worth of content and is brought to you by Straits Interactive on behalf of PECB.

In the face of a crisis, business continuity management is imperative to the survival of the business. Business continuity management plans identify the impact of significant business disruptions and document the measures that need to be taken to minimise losses and ensure business continuity. Proper planning is essential to mitigating risks, avoiding consequences, recovering from disasters and other incidents, while at the same time, continuing your daily operations to meet the needs of your customers.

Organisations can make progress towards understanding and managing disasters, incidents, and risks by having a Business Continuity Management System plan in place, based on ISO 22301 standards.

This programme is designed to prepare its candidates to implement a business continuity management system (BCMS) in compliance with the requirements of ISO 22301. The programme allows the individual to gain a comprehensive understanding of the best practices of the business continuity management system and to be able to establish a framework that allows the organisation to continue operating efficiently during disruptive events.

Upon completing the programme, participants can choose to take the exam and apply for the “PECB Certified ISO 22301 Lead Implementer” credential, upon passing the exam. The internationally recognised certificate will prove that the individual has the professional capabilities and practical knowledge to implement a BCMS based on the requirements of ISO 22301 in an organisation.
