Meta says a bug accidentally exposed internal instructions designed to guide WhatsApp's AI support chatbot, including rules on legal and privacy-related queries. Meta has confirmed that a WhatsApp bug exposed hidden AI chatbot instructions across around 80 help and FAQ pages, revealing internal guidance on how its support chatbot should answer users, including instructions on legal questions, privacy regulations and what the AI "WHAT NOT TO SAY." The hidden material was embedded in the website's underlying code and was not intended for public viewing.
