ePLDT partners with Vantiq to expand sovereign AI platform

ePLDT, Inc., the information and communications technology arm of PLDT, Inc., has partnered with artificial intelligence (AI) orchestration company Vantiq to expand the capabilities of its sovereign AI platform, as demand grows for locally hosted AI systems that keep data within Philippine jurisdiction. "Pilipinas AI was designed to help Philippine organizations adopt AI with the right foundation: secure infrastructure, local data residency, enterprise-grade capabilities and access to leading global technologies," ePLDT and VITRO, Inc. President and Chief Executive Officer Victor S. Genuino said in a statement on Thursday.
