Companies urged to standardize cyber defenses

Gonzales, Reporter COMPANIES operating nationwide should apply cybersecurity policies consistently across headquarters and provincial offices to reduce security risks and eliminate weak points in their networks, according to enterprise information technology management company ManageEngine. "When it comes to cybersecurity awareness or cybersecurity in general, I think it has to be treated as a culture," Subhalakshmi Ganapathy, chief information technology (IT) security evangelist at ManageEngine, told BusinessWorld in a video call on Monday. "The regional branches or headquarters, they all follow a similar work culture, working style and the business processes.
