'More services to be added to MyGOV app'

KUALA LUMPUR: The government will add more services to the MyGOV Malaysia app by the end of the year as it works towards linking digital services across ministries and agencies, says Digital Minister Gobind Singh Deo (pic). He said the move was part of the GovTech Malaysia plan to make government dealings simpler and reduce the need for people to submit the same information repeatedly to different agencies. "GovTech Malaysia is not just about digitising existing processes. "It is about redesigning the way the government delivers services," he said in the Dewan Rakyat yesterday. Gobind said MyGOV Malaysia had recorded 3,199,120 downloads and 3,014,096 active users as at Oct 8. The platform has integrated 62 services from 22 public-sector agencies and uses MyDigital ID as a single sign-on.
