THE European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) held its 2026 AI Forum on Oct. 22 at Makati Shangri-La, gathering government officials, diplomats and industry leaders to discuss how artificial intelligence (AI) can strengthen economic competitiveness, cybersecurity and innovation. With the theme "Intelligent Industries: AI at the Core of Economic Growth and Security," the forum explored responsible AI adoption, digital resilience and enterprise applications, aligning Philippine priorities with regional and European initiatives.
