Tabung Haji systems resume after cyberattack, depositors' savings confirmed safe

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 12 -- Lembaga Tabung Haji's (TH) key systems and services have resumed operations following a temporary suspension due to a cyberattack on Oct 8, with depositors' savings confirmed to be safe. In a statement today, TH announced that the reactivation of these key systems and services followed comprehensive security checks, the strengthening of controls, and system recovery measures. According to the statement, TH branches in Kedah, Terengganu, and Kelantan resumed operations yesterday, while branches in other states opened as usual today; services provided through strategic banking partners have also been reactivated. "TH assures that depositors' savings are safe.
