1 in 5 Singaporeans want coverage with digital mental health tools

Only 60% view AI mental health tools positively, lagging physical and financial services. Every one in five Singaporeans is more interested in insurance products that offer access to digital mental health tools, as more are stating they feel overwhelmed with the rise of technology usage. AIA Singapore's AIA Live Better study showed that majority acknowledge technology improves their overall quality of life (71%) and helps them stay informed and make better lifestyle decisions (74%), but many still feel simultaneously overwhelmed and less empowered. Fewer than 3 in 5 feel truly in control of their health through digital means and are, in fact, experiencing overwhelm caused by the sheer volume of information available online (61%).
