Jose, Reporter THE PHILIPPINES needs to ensure the effective implementation of the Konektadong Pinoy Act to encourage investment in next-generation networks, according to the Global System for Mobile Communications Association (GSMA), a mobile industry association. "In terms of getting the right investments, there were very clear laid out policies. I think the challenge now is to work with the government to help implement those things," GSMA Head of Public Policy and External Affairs Jeanette Whyte said at a roundtable on Wednesday.
