Cybersecurity is the top priority of nine out of ten business leaders in Philippines as companies gear up for a Covid-19 recovery and the new business normal. A report from global cloud security firm CrowdStrike also said organizations in the Philippines "expect increased technology budgets to support accelerated digital transformation." The study from the Nasdaq-listed firm also said among business leaders in Philippines who believe that there should be more investment in remote working, 86 percent list the enhancement of cybersecurity measures as a top priority. Despite a grim economic outlook, 81 percent of local business leaders expect technology budgets to increase. CrowdStrike also said it observed an increase in electronic crime (eCrime) activity - up by more than 330 percent since the start of 2020, as compared to the same period in 2019.
