PETALING JAYA: As the deadline looms today, a staggering number of over 10 million individuals have registered with the Central Database Hub (Padu). "As of March 30, 2024, 12.30pm, the total number of individuals with updated information is 10.03 million out of the 30.08 million recorded in the Padu system based on administrative data sources," Padu announced on its official Facebook page yesterday. The Economy Ministry had earlier reported a spike in Padu registration in the last few days leading up to the deadline. "Even though there are some negative undercurrents among online users due to not understanding the issue or those purposely trying to find publicity, Malaysians in general are not affected.
