The university leverages AI and web services to enhance campus operations and student experience at scale. Nanyang Technological University clinched the IoT - Education and Web Services - Education categories in the Singapore Business Review Technology Excellence Awards 2026. The AVAIlable:IT ecosystem transforms NTU's Smart Campus support by combining three AI engines: Voice, GenAI Workflow, and Predictive IoT, to deliver proactive and self-healing IT services. By automating routine tasks and pre-drafting complex responses for human verification, the system managed seasonal workload spikes of over 200% without increasing headcount, whilst reducing incident resolution time by more than 50%. The Predictive IoT grid across 275 teaching facilities automatically detects faults and generates maintenance tickets before users report them, eliminating unnecessary noise.
