MANILA, Philippines -- The defense team on Friday flashed copies of the Bureau of Internal Revenue's (BIR) confidential letters of authority (LOAs) issued to Vice President Sara Duterte and her husband, lawyer Manases Carpio, amid the impeachment trial. The move came just a day after the defense slammed the prosecution for publicly showing the couple's tax records during Thursday's proceedings, raising data privacy and confidentiality issues.
