Vida to fly to Czech Republic to discuss Zaldy Co's return - Manila Standard

Department of Justice Secretary Frederick Vida will fly to Prague on Thursday, April 23, to discuss with Czech authorities the possible return of fugitive ex-lawmaker Zaldy Co. In an ambush interview Wednesday, Vida said meeting details have yet to be finalized and declined to give a timeline for talks on Co, who remains in Czech custody. "Wala pang arranged meetings. The details will come along as we discuss this with Czech authorities," he said, adding that Chief State Prosecutor Dennis Chan will join the Philippine delegation. Vida said he would not speculate on the schedule out of respect for the Czech government's prerogatives. "I cannot speculate kasi ayaw din nating pangunahan ang Czech Republic.
