U-turn ramp at Serdang Interchange to ease traffic

Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ) is finalising the budget to construct an RM80mil U-turn ramp along Damansara-Puchong Highway (LDP) to alleviate congestion around the Serdang Interchange. The proposed ramp will allow motorists travelling from Putrajaya to Puchong to bypass the Serdang Interchange and turn directly onto Jalan Putra Permai. Subang Jaya mayor Datuk Amirul Azizan Abd Rahim said the project consultant had presented the ramp design to MBSJ. "We have reviewed the design, which is approved by Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM), and we agree that it needs to be built. "However, our Engineering Department is still finalising the project budget," he said during a press conference after the full board meeting at MBSJ headquarters in USJ5.
