OpenAI has unveiled a new security feature called Lockdown Mode, aimed at helping users and organizations reduce the risk of sensitive information being exposed through prompt injection attacks, a growing concern in the artificial intelligence (AI) landscape. The feature, which is rolling out to eligible personal accounts, including Free, Go, Plus and Pro users, as well as self-serve ChatGPT Business accounts, restricts a range of capabilities that connect ChatGPT to the web or external services.
