Fortinet pinpoints cybersecurity trends

Unified security platforms, agentic artificial intelligence (AI)-powered security systems and post-quantum cryptography are the current cybersecurity trends, according to Supakorn Kungpisdan, the new country manager of Fortinet Thailand. The Thai cybersecurity market is worth around US$450 million and is forecast to post double-digit growth this year, he said. "Fortinet is committed to continuous investment in its technology, expanding its team and strengthening its vast community of partners and technical experts who play a critical role in customer support and solution delivery," Mr Supakorn told the Bangkok Post. He assumed the post on July 16 and has 24 years of experience in the IT and cybersecurity industries, including a stint as managing director of Cyber Elite Co Ltd, a company under the Benchachinda Group.
