Ex-Indosat Employee Allegedly Hacks National Data Center

Jakarta. A former employee of Lintasarta, a subsidiary of cellular operator Indosat, is alleged to have breached the second backup server of the national data center in Surabaya. Local media reports have identified the former employee as Dicky Prasetya Atmadja, who allegedly shared documents containing access information from the national data center, also known as the government cloud. In response to these reports, Indosat spokesman Steve Saerang stated on Sunday that Dicky has not been employed by Lintasarta since 2021. "We want to emphasize that the person linked to the national data center breach has not been employed by Lintasarta since August 2021," Steve said. He added that Indosat and its subsidiaries are committed to maintaining good corporate governance and integrity to honor the trust of their customers.
