BCA Claims Customer Data Secure Following Hack Report

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) has reported news of leaked customer data to the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The Bjorka hacking group claimed to have gained access to 890,000 accounts and 4.9 million BCA databases a few days ago. "We confirm that the information is not true. We assure that BCA customer data remains safe," said BCA Corporate Secretary Raymon Yonarto to the Indonesia Stock Exchange on Monday, February 10, 2025. Raymon stated that the company consistently advises the public to be cautious of individuals claiming to represent BCA and various fraudulent schemes. He also reminded customers not to share confidential banking information such as BCA ID, password, one-time password (OTP), and personal identification number (PIN) with anyone.
