PUTRAJAYA, Oct 11 -- The Ministry of Digital is intensifying efforts to strengthen the nation's digital ecosystem, empower local tech talent and build a future-ready workforce under Budget 2027, as part of Malaysia's broader ambition to become an AI Nation by 2030. In a statement today, the Ministry said these efforts include producing 200,000 AI-skilled individuals by strengthening AI Malaysia Bhd, with a focus on developing high-skilled talent, digital infrastructure and efficient, secure and ethical AI governance.
