With AI booming, new skills needed in IT-BPM sector

THE country's outsourcing industry is moving to upskill its workforce amid the increasing adoption worldwide of artificial intelligence technologies. "Our recent outlook shows that the global IT-BPM( (information technology and business process management) industry is entering a new phase, and that growth will increasingly come from higher-value, AI-enabled services rather than traditional labor arbitrage alone," the IT and Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP) said.
