Competition for future-ready talent looms as workers turn more selective, Marsh warns

BUSINESSES and enterprises are facing challenges in securing talent to drive their expansions, according to a report by professional services firm Marsh Philippines. In a statement on Monday, Marsh Philippines Workforce and Rewards Practice Leader Sean Darilay said the supply of future-ready talent is limited with candidates becoming increasingly selective about who they work for. "Even in a labor market that looks resilient on paper, Philippine employers are finding it harder to secure the talent they need to grow. The pressure is coming from both sides," Mr. Darilay said.
