AGO Investigates Alleged Hacking of Its Employees Database

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Attorney General's Office (AGO) spokesperson Leonard Eben Ezer Simanjuntak on Wednesday announced that his office is currently analyzing an alleged hacking of its employees' database that had been uploaded to a hackers' online forum. He said the office's Pusdaskrimti or Center for Criminal Statistics and Information Technology is currently monitoring its entire system and making sure that the systems within the AGO are working normally and safe from any cyber crime. "Pusdaskrimti is currently investigating whether it is an old or new case of hacking," said Leonard on Wednesday, February 17. However, to follow up this alleged data breach, they are in close contact with the country's National Cyber and Encryption Agency (BSSN) to find the cause.
