Dell has put out a warning to its customers, informing them that it has suffered a serious data breach. It claims that hackers have made of with the personal details of approximately 49 million customers. "We are currently investigating an incident involving a Dell portal, which contains a database with limited types of customer information related to purchases from Dell," reads a Dell data breach notification. However, the computer brand believes that there isn't a significant risk to the its customer base, given the sensitivity and nature of information the threat actors made off with.
