AFP: No data breach in Army, Navy 'intrusion'

MANILA, Philippines -- There were no indications of data breach in the military's websites and cyber platforms despite confirmed attempts by unnamed groups to access them, according to officials who revealed an investigation is underway. Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) public affairs office chief Col. Xerxes Trinidad said the military "is actually verifying this matter seriously and we would like to get more details coming from our major services." Philippine Army spokesman Col. Louie Dema-ala noted that despite an intrusion attempt, no data was compromised and security systems are being improved to prevent similar incidents from happening again.
